PGM New Gods #1 -- CGC Update 0

Recently acquired -- any feedback helpful. I tried to give detail around the staples. There are no color breaks that I can see on the spine. The cover actually makes it a little hard to see them.

The only thing I can see is some slight edge wear, minor blunting, small wave to the book doesn't lay flat) and the small ink mark on the back. I would say a 9.4 but to ensure it I would have the book pressed and dry cleaned. Very nice book!

I was thinking 9.2 (bottom of spine, micro tears at staples) but, seeing comicquant's, a 9.4 wouldn't surprise me.

9.0, no better IMO.

 

There are indeed several CB hits FC. Look at the pic of 1st interior page. Shows the minor creases on the page and FC. The closeup spine pic shows several breaks and staple tear. BC shows several NCB stresses (white cover). Minor dirty/dusty BC. Minor corner impact TLHC of BC?

 

Colors and gloss are very nice indeed though. All in all a book I would like to own for sure!

Gradejunky covered most of the wear. Other than the two rounded corners, you can't see much from the front cover pics. It's the last two photos that speak the most to me, 7.0/7.5 as is IMO.

I'm seeing 8.5 with a outside chance of a 9.0 on a good day. Very sharp colors and nice looking spine should help it out

Well guys -- finally pulled the trigger and got it graded.  I am pretty pleased with the results.

I responded to Mailman_Comics who had your book graded a 7.0/7.5.  I love buying raw comics from severe under graders.
