Very scarce late run war cover Fox book.

 

Apparent FR/G - OW pages. Decent eye appeal, but grade lowered due to taped spine, with some paper repair on inside cover at spine, and probably replaced staples. heritage sold a 1.5 for over $800 last year.

1st Fox Romance book with a great "nipples" cover. Pink bleed is from inside front cover art, common on this book. Great sleazy romance stories.

 

F/VF, greyish white pages. Could grade higher grade depending on how one feels about back cover foxing. A spot of rust on top staple. Production flaw - the first two wraps are about a 1/4" shorter than the rest of the pages.

Joker story. 1st D*ck Sprang story.

 

An exceptional CGC 6.0 Universal with OW/W pages. I didn't slab this but it looks harshly graded, a couple small tears at the bottom o the back cover and a little non-color breaking crease at the bottom right corner being the only notable flaws I can see through the slab. There is a small plastic shard floating in the slab as well, it does not appear to have broken off this slab. Small production tear at top left corner, but spine is solid.

CGC 3.5 CR/OW Universal CR/OWpages. Nice eye-appeal. The tears at the staples, and a couple spots of back cover color loss are what I imagine brought the grade down.

Apparent FR/G - decent eye appeal but has tape along spine, and glue, and probably newer staple. While pages are CR/OW and feel supple, there is a 1" tear at bottom of many, and some appear taped back in, so there may be some brittleness at spine, but book is totally readable. A beat but complete reader copy.

AMAZING-MAN #10

 

Everett Cover

Ex-CGC 1.8 with C-1 slight resto (small amount of glue on spine) CR/OW pages

I'm calling it a 1.5. It has a decent looking cover, but there is a 2.5" tear through the whole book. with a piece of tape over it on every page. Tape is slightly yellowed, but doesn't look too bad. The first page is nearly entirely detached from the book. There are also three pieces of pointless tape on the inside edge of the front cover. I'd call the pages cream at front of the book, moving to CR/OW towards the back. Good colors.

 

The glue looks like it was applied at the staples, and is probably what's holding the cover on.

Has mid grade eye-appeal, but tanning on the inside covers, and an H2O stain about an inch and a half long and half an inch wide at the top right. hard to see on the front.
