I've had this issue for thirty years, and can't quite put a grade on it.

 

Defects are as seen...slight overhang to top of cover; spine creases; minor wrinkling and stain on back cover; inside pages cream to off-white. Centerfold and cover secure to staples.

Looks to me like a 5.5 / 6.0. Its always harder to grade white books without having the book in hand but with the creasing and wear visible in Sups cape and costume its easier to get an idea. Cool book!

I had 5.0 in mind. But last grading contest shin posted "by publisher" data and I was worst at DC.

I will go 5.5.

 

Very solid book. A lot of spine ticks, but the corners look very good. I was leaning higher, but CGC seems to really hammer the grade with any indication of staining.
