I'm terrible at grading moderns, I never know what is considered production and what's not. The link above has better images I think.

I'm guessing that most of the spine on this book is production related other than the ~4 spine ticks? Am I looking at a 9.4/9.6 here am I way off?

Looks like a 9.6 to me.  I think there's just enough corner/edge wear to keep it from a 9.8.

I agree no 9.8 here, I'm just terrible at 9.4/9.6
