PM on the way.

For everyone else just google "FF #52" and "Apology" and "collectors-society"

A wealth of locked-thread reading. Snuggle up with a brandy and enjoy.

Funny.

I googled the words and THIS thread showed up lol lol

Dammit!! Self-defeating search words.

Make that :

collectors-society and FF#52

collectors-society and Apology

Well, you were all over that apology thread, so you should be able to dig that one up easy.

I believe the seller is a boardie. I see him all of the time at different shows. He sets up at shows and he is always buying.

I hope his bidder follows through. :wishluck: That's a nice sale for a seller.

Another one listed on CL for $8K - let's see what it does. The Ebay book had tape on the cover. This one has a detached cover. This book is crazy hot. 9iRRnjRXT.gif

CL Listing

Not for sale but it does make me wonder what my 1.8 would sell for now. I think a resub may get it a 2.0.

If both staples are firmly attached and the back has no big stains or pieces out that's a easy 2.0.

I'd reslab.

95% of you cannot be reasoned with.

And that scene scared the sneetches out of me when I was 9.

Definitely not a scene for kids.

Raiders pre-dated the PG-13 rating, if my memory is correct -- that scene alone would probably get the film the rating if it were released today.

I remember seeing Poltergeist in the theater when it came out -- that's another film with some pretty intense stuff (the corpses in the pool scene, for example) that made me go "This is a PG film?" when I saw it. :fear:

To bump a 1.8 to a 2.0?

Really?

That's just silly

It was the freaking face-peeling for me :sick:

Yes, that was the worst scene for me, too.

Gave me nightmares.

That, and the giant demon when Craig T Nelson tries to pull Jobeth Williams back through the closet.

*shudder*

The pool scene was pretty creepy, too.

And the clown grabbing Tommy was a good fright.
