Thunderbolts/Spider-Man Blank cover sketch mystery!!
Thunderbolts/Spider-Man Blank Variant Mystery!!!

I dont usually deal in moderns, so unsure of this comic. I Understand its the blank cover variant, but cannot find any examples or reasons why spidey is on it. Can anyone point me in right direction please!! If you approx  know value too, that would be a bonus!

It's not a blank cover that someone drew a sketch on?

It's a blank, so Spidey is on it because that's the character that was requested of the artist.  When dealing with blank cover sketches, the title and what's on it don't necessarily coincide.

So is this a commission piece? Is the artist Stuart immonen?

Yes, probably a commission piece.  That was my first thought.  The art looks like it could possibly be his, but I haven't been able to find any examples of his where he prints his name that way.  Most of his signatures are in cursive.

Thanks for the help. I too think it looks like his style, but found no history of him signing that way in other commission pieces. Strange!!

As the signature is totally different, and the art is somewhat different than Immonen, I think it is someone else. Likely an amateur/ unknown.
