HP Scanjet 8290 w/ Mac

Anyone using an HP Scant 8290 legal scanner w/ a Mac? I need to get mine setup to scan...need help support!

Anyone have a place for the correct driver, update and software to use?

I have the 8250 from the 8200 series on PC.  There's a setting only in the HP scanning software that achieves a sharpness on scans of slabs that makes the hassle to find, and/or possibly stage on a compatable OS worthwhile.

You may want to check out VueScan (there's a free version).  It should help.
