THING #6 pre-code decapitation story

This copy has excellent eye appeal with plenty of gloss and rich colors - looks like a VG/F or better. But it appears to have had a spine roll pressed out as on the back cover there is a crease about a quarter inch in from the spine running the length of the book. The inside covers are white, but the pages are tanned at top and bottom, though the art area is off-white. The biggest problem is that there is a 1" tear on the bottom left corner of the pages in the back half of the book - the pages have large margins so it doesn't go into the art, but the pages have brittleness next to the tear with minor flaking. Otherwise the book is supple and readable with no spine issues. There are three pages with a slightly ragged reading edge most likely due to a blunt cutter in the production process. This issues contains a decapitation story not listed in the guide. Call it a VG- price is $65- I pay postage and insurance.
