The Voord Posted September 5, 2017 Share Posted September 5, 2017 If Ditko could replicate his 1960s style (and be open for commissions), I'd jump at a Spidey piece. Fact is, it's never going to happen. In his prime, Ditko's art was a nice blend of cartooning and illustration. Towards the end of the 1960s his style became increasingly more 'cartoony' (if that makes sense?). If he had a change of heart, opening himself up to commission ideas involving his most famous creation, I'm pretty sure any resulting artwork would be a huge disappointment, so probably best left in the past (when he was ahead of the game).
