gadzukes
This is a restored AF15. It was a remaindered copy that has had a new masthead attached. It also has color touch. I just want to get a sense of what you guys think it will grade out at. Back cover is a little better than the front cover. Westy Steve
As it is, I think it's more like a 4.0. But can you press it? I don't know if you can press a book with a piece replaced. I think a press would bring it closer to a 5.0 if CGC is forgiving on the chipping.
Glassman10
3.0 -3.5 The photo doesn't show the spine and the book is seriously rolled. The "A" in Amazing fantasy is actually going around the edge. The color breaks are really numerous. I don't see that book pressing. Vorpal
All I can say is that the restorer did a masterful job. I can't even tell anything was replaced; they matched the wear on the rest of the book... amazing!

It's in the original configuration. If you look at a lot of AF15s you will see that many are wrapped like this. In a perfect world the centering would always skew to the front, but for some reason with Af15s many of them are not very well centered
oakman29
Couldn't give you a grade without the back cover.

gadzukes
This Af15 is now being shipped back to me. It got a Restored 3.5 B-2 Restoration includes: small amount of color touch on cover, tear seals to cover. I wanted a 3.5-4.0 so I'm more than happy with that. I'll post a pic when it comes in. rjpb
I'm surprised it got S/M. I didn't realize from your original post that it was a married masthead, which is why I thought extensive. Whoever repaired it looks to have done an excellent job, as you can't tell from a picture, and it didn't get straight up moderate resto.
