I tried to give him the benifit of the doubt on these supposed VF to VF+ books.......until I enlarged the # 175.

Look in the 'H' of the Hulk logo on 175 (Gasp!...vomit)... it's from the infamous, fabled FrankCock collection!!

Yep! ANOTHER one from the fabled FrankCock collection (the world famous Coxswain and gadfly extroadinnaire). This one bears the "mark of the Beast" in the "W" of the logo rather than his usual nom-de-plume!!

Whenever I see a VF or a VF+ on e-bay, I usually put the word "apparent" in front of it or Qualified. That helps me to understand what's going on.

Check out the seller's feedback, the WARNING signs are clear Look at other books the same seller has already sold and received feedback for, people have been giving positive feedback for overgraded books.

That's a typical trait of this Pedigree. ALL the books from the "FrankCock" collection have corner folds that are tenaciously resistant to unfolding!!

By the way, a very little known fact:

Lousy Graders are also known in certain circles as "Charlie Lau" (after the former catcher from the 1950s/1960s, whose ony claim to fame was managing to remain a major leaguer while being completely devoid of any baseball skills whatsoever). Coincidentally, "Charlie Lau" is LATIN for "Lousy grader"!!!
