JcomicJ
Would cgc grade this? It's sealed in a polybag has a very risqué cover but doesn't seem to be graded by any grader companies yet I was wondering because I was gonna bite the bullet and get it graded so it would be in registry for the sake of being cataloged on principal of comics. deadleg
They'll grade it. It will be taken out of the polybag if you send it to them with it still enclosed in the bag. Your best bet is to take it out of the bag to ensure there isn't any major damage to the book itself and to ensure that you get a better grade when it comes back. UnboxingTreasures
I don't see why CGC would grade it. It's pornography and clearly against their policy.

I wasn't aware of such a policy, I've seen custom sketches of full nudes get graded at conventions.

And almost no one agrees on what pornography is. I bet they will grade it. Too new to show up in the registry, I imagine.

That's in there. Many titles are not though, unless they are requested or very popular. There also has to be more than one graded before they will start an entry. ygogolak

I'm not familiar with the cover art on Sex Criminals, but I know that Playboy is simply nudity. There's no spread open vaginas or penetration. Their is no comparison between Playboy and the XXX Savage Dragon cover.

Both are very pornographic books. What's to stop them from stabbing a Savage Dragon 225?

No but, the images displayed inside the books are just as graphic at some points. CGC looks through the whole book when grading, not just the cover so, I still don't see why they wouldn't grade this. Can you link me to the section of their policy where it states that they wouldn't grade this? Edited September 1, 2017 by deadleg
