Fun copy to post ! i am not old enough to remember Howdy Doodie,....

comic is in nice F+ condition i think........

Great looking copy but spine looks a bit worn, particularly on back cover where the dark colors make it more noticeable. Small tear lower left edge back cover too.

 Fair, oldest I've sent in for grading has been 1966 - not sure if there is any contextual grading for it's age or it should be judged the same as all moderns.

Very hard to tell if that is wrinkling or dirt on the book.  I'm tending to think its wrinkling so I'm going a bit lower at VG/FN

As a quick update, I sent the Howdy Doody in for consignment to MCS and their graders gave it a 3.0.... they have this as a 6.5 so something is seriously questionable. Note they didn't mention anything incomplete/torn/missing/damaged on the interior or spine.

 

Anyone had a similar experience?

the howdy doddy could use a nice clean and press i think it could go easily 6.5 maybe a 7.0
