Price of front cover only?

Sorry if this has been asked before.  I could only find threads on coverless copies or detached but complete covers...

I'm interested to know if there's a rule of thumb for the value of just the front cover to a comic?  I'm talking about golden age books only.  Not major keys.  I've heard before that a coverless copy should be 25% the value of a 2.0 universal grade.  So what about just the front cover?  Is it as simple as "whatever someone's willing to pay"?  :smirk:

I would probably guess the value of a complete cover minus comic between 1/4 and 1/2 of a 2.0; I would probably guess just the front cover at around 1/5 to 1/3 of a 2.0.  With a LOT of variability, and mostly boiling down to "what are people willing to pay".  Coverless books are vastly more common than bookless covers; so the cover would probably have an edge in the value department.

I paid $50 (if I recall correctly) for a (complete) cover to All-American #15; that's the only sale I'm personally aware of.  But that was a rare case of I already had a coverless copy of the book when the cover popped up.
