Hi All!!

Looking for thoughts on this VoH #35 - I bought this because it was / is my favorite pre code horror cover.  Look how mad that guy is!!  Ha!

This is also kind of a learning experience for me - I have an idea of what it might be, and want to see if Im close to consensus.  Im new to graded comics so trying to figure it all out!

The front presents nicely, Back has issues.  Pice on top, and rip running through the binoculars.

Also, the bottom staple is detached.  Thank you so much!

I hear you GalacticFlaneur - Overstreet grading guidelines technically don't allow a missing piece that size above 2.0, but my sense is that CGC is a little more lenient on that dimension. So, I'm going with 2.5

Looks great from the front, but that's a big missing piece, AND a big tear, AND a staple detachment...

Good to know, obviously I'm a little newer to grading so I try to stick to the book as much as I can. As I see more actual graded items I think I'll be able to pick up the small differentiating details.

For all that though, I do love this cover!

Thank you all so much.  I would be thrilled with a 2.5!

now the million dollar question, is this worth getting graded?  I have never sent a book in, and in say, 2.5 does the value of this book warrant the costs associated with grading?
