gadzukes
Does anyone actually collect these? I'm sure there's always someone who does. I never really cared about them, but I recently picked up a fairly nice collection of them so I thought I'd post a few pics. Not all of these are 1st ed, but they are all early editions. I think #8 (Arabian Nights) is the first of the 1st editions and that one is my favorite because of the awesome back cover. Paper quality on Classic Comics seems very low. It's got to be nearly impossible to find them in super high grade, although most of these are pretty good. Sorry if there's already a Classics thread, I couldn't find one. gadzukes
This is my favorite of the run because of the back cover. All of the others have boring back covers. Pat Calhoun and Marty Mann

I have the entire Classics Illustrated run of 1-169 sans a few issues that I hope to find soon enough. I was just wondering if CGC is a little more lenient with their grading on these since the materials are such low quality (the cover stock is very low quality)
Scrooge
I recently revived this Classics thread. It's on Page two of Topics - Great set of books. Please re-post them there if you don't mind

Yeah, that's a sweet 9.0. It looks nicer than any of mine, but I was thinking mine looked nice enough to get a pretty good grade. I know that sometimes CGC has been a little more lenient in grading GA books so I was wondering what I could expect on mine.
