What is going on with X Men 12 in 9.6?

This book routinely sold in the $5-6K range for years in 9.6. The last 2 sales have been $16K and $11K. That $16K is $6K higher than the Pac Coast 9.8 sold for just a couple of years ago. Matter of fact, no 9.8 has sold for $16K. Am I missing something?
