Unlike art, comics have many copies in many different grades that you can compare too, which will help establish value. You can and should do your research when buying art but ultimately it comes down to what you feel comfortable paying.

I have paid over what I believe the market is for art, but these are one of kind pieces and if you pass on it now, you may never get another chance.

 I have rarely felt regret over buying a page, but I have felt regret for not buying a page!

I have regret both ways, mostly from not buying, but there’s a few that after owning the piece for a while, not really clicking with it and wanting to sell, I had a difficult time finding it a new owner.
