Stop right there, after item #2: Spine stress lines breaks color. Not a pressing candidate, especially if it already received a 9.6. There's no headroom, no path to 9.8 with spine stress lines breaking the color.

Good you did. Saved yourself some money on a submission that could be made with a different book's submission. Also, going by the list of defects, this may have been a detrimental resubmission, coming back lower than intended. Maybe a 9.4! It happens on tweeners (grades that could have gone either way but that time got the benefit of the doubt).

The fact that it is an old red label book can be misleading to some. Probably hasn’t been pressed based on the notes, but could come back a lower grade post pressing since CGC has tightened up in their grading since then.
