The story about this magazine is the following.

In 2007 the Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero (prime minister of Spain back then) administration decided to offer a bonus of €2500 for every family with a child born starting July 3, 2007.

It was called the Baby Cheque.

Le Jueves is a political satire magazine and they decided to display a cartoon of the Prince Felipe de Borbon and his wife Letizia making love with the Prince saying:"Do you imagine, darling...If you get pregnant this would be the closest thing to a job that I ever did".

The Prince Felipe back then was the heir to the throne of Spain (he is now King of Spain) and married Letizia, a journalist and not noble woman (now she is the Queen of Spain)

In Spain, censorship "before release" is forbidden, but it is allowed once the  media is released to the public. This is the case of this magazine.

The judge ordered the seizure and destruction of all copies from the newsstands the morning of the release. It is unknown how many copies have survived.

A couple of days lates the published released again the magazine with a more politically correct cover.

The magazine I am selling is still in the original wrap, including the small book that was offered as a gift.
