Buffalo Cons are so old school they use a walker.

nah we have our 3 day extravaganza by dave and adams in may  with a bunch of b list actors (although we did get shatner a show or 2 ago)emil (queen city) 2 day con in oct  and some smaller Joe D and Ted hanes powercon, etc

But this is my personal favorite, less focused on media and more on comics which is what I grew up on at least.
