HuddyBee
Brave and the Bold #34, first SA Hawkman & Hawkgirl, an awesome (and still affordable) SA DC key. Lets see them high grade copies. Mine are down below. (NOT high grade mind you, but I figured we'd better start somewhere, and hey, I aint rich) One is 2.5 the other a 1.8. I actually had the 1.8 graded by PGX just for protection purposes. (Hey, again, I aint rich. 20 bucks for shock and UV protection, I'll take it) But anyway lets see some copies y'all rich folks got! (and poor folks, we all love comics here) Edited May 3, 2018 by HuddyBee KirbyJack

KirbyJack
A hundred years ago, The Overstreet influenced me with a feature about “The Seven Pillars of The Silver Age” , or some such. Their 7 SA alpha dogs were Showcase 4, 22, and 34; Brave And The Bold 28 and 34; AF 15; and Fantastic Four 1. Those 34s have lost a bit of cache since, but I still consider them to be major keys! 1950's war comics and HuddyBee

Yep while not a Superman or Batman, Hawkman is still definitely a major DC character (also the coolest). Right now this book is pretty cheap compared to Showcase 4 and 22, and even cheaper to AF 15, X-men 1, TS 39, and a lot of those Marvel first appearances. And the DC keys are much more RARE. AF 15 is being incredibly overpriced, with a 9.6 selling for 1.1 mil, there are about 3,000 AF 15's graded just by CGC. Marvel Keys are set up perfectly for a price drop, just wait for the movie hype to be over. DC keys however, have no where to go but up, so I try to snag 'em while I can. (gotta get me a copy of the other 34) Edited May 4, 2018 by HuddyBee Robo99
Robo99
I believe this is a grossly overlooked key - which makes it a great time to buy HuddyBee, silverseeker and Larryw7
chrisco37
Yeah, been waiting for this one to explode. Killer cover with great colors. With the effects they’ve got today, he could look good on screen. HuddyBee
Bomber-Bob
I agree that BB #34 is a killer cover, one of my favorite of all time. One of the few SA keys that has not taken off. HuddyBee and silverseeker

Math Teacher
Here's my copy of BB #34. It's still raw, and it's not in super great shape, but at least I have a copy. Larryw7, KirbyJack and HuddyBee

Popular Post Larryw7
I picked this up the other night. Not high grade, but solid and cheap. HuddyBee, porcupine48, KirbyJack and 2 others
KirbyJack
I owned one years back, paid $10 for it. Then some month in the 1990s, it got hyper-hot. I then traded it (and $20) for a Tales of Suspense 39. HuddyBee and WolverineX
Ghastly542454
I had my copy for close to 45 years and finally sent it in last year to be graded. I was pretty sure it would get at least a 5.5 or a 6.0. Alas there were some spine splits which I had not noticed and it received a 3.5. 😢😩 But it’s a beautiful 3.5! bb8, HuddyBee and KirbyJack

HuddyBee
Awesome copies. Who doesn't love Hawkman? Completed the run 3-4 years ago, and I'm so grateful to have done it. (no pics of MIS group)
