Cracked slab? 0

Has anyone noticed this, looks like a crack in the back of the slab. Im confused. Can someone explain what is it? Ive been talking to some people and someone mentioned it might be a new suspension type holder.

This looks like a CGC "wedge", which is a small piece of plastic designed to help keep the book tight inside the inner well. It's generally placed on the side or the bottom of the holder. It's very common, and it should be nothing to worry about.

I went to a store recently where the owners of the store and their customers kept thinking something was wrong because one of the graded books had the wedge and they thought there was something up with the CGC case. I gave your explanation and they finally got a few more books with wedges. Customers wouldn't buy the books because they thought it was a defect in the case.
