Hello,

I just purchased a comic that indicated that it was CGC graded. 

I'm concerned a switch may have happened.

Is there a way I can look up the CGC grading of this comic based upon the bar code to compare?

You can search the registry to see if someone uploaded a picture of it.  But if no one uploaded a picture, you probably won't have a picture to compare to.  And even then there's no way for you to know if that was before or after the 'switch' occurred.

 

There is a small chance that the original submitter paid for CGC imaging of the book.  You can probably just email CGC with cert# and ask them about the image.

 

Also, if every part of the slab is intact, the odds of a switch are still near nil.  You could probably post a picture here and get some feedback.
