When Captain Marvel flies. 0

Never read Captain Marvel. In his 70s incarnation, whenever he's flying there are what looks to me to be gold asterisks popping in his backdraft (?). I associate these asterisks with underground comics when a character has, say, dropped acid and they are stumbling around these asterisks will be popping about his head.

Anybody got the goods on why when Captain Marvel flies he's got this going on and when other characters fly they don't?

It’s a photon particle trail. Was a side effect of the cosmic awareness Eon gifted him. Happened in #29

hope they give it to the gal in the movies. that would be very neat. my first memory of cap marvel was the twinkie ad in mid-70s Marvels
