Can I do anything about corner dents?

I'm new to collecting comic books and am mainly collecting newer books. I have two I received the other day that were damaged in shipping. The lower spine corner is dented on both. Is there are way to reduce the damage, or should I just look for new ones?

For me, the best way to remove corner dents incurred from shipping is to send them back to the person who improperly packed the comics and make them pay for return shipping before issuing me a refund. Just open a case through eBay or PayPal.

You can have them pressed that will help with the damage...cost is usually somewhere between 10 and 20 dollars if books are modern.

If it's a non color breaking crease then pressing can help. If the crease breaks color then pressing will not remove that defect
