D84
This is a book I am sending off for grading. The centerfold is missing so I know I will be getting a 0.5 or a qualified label, but I want to know what you'd think the book would get if qualified. The tear on top goes through the entire book, and the bottom staple is detached from the cover.
1950's war comics
not sure of grade missing the centerfold but it will look nice in the new CGC slab after you get it graded..... ComicConnoisseur, Lucky Baru and FoggyNelson
The Lions Den
Very unfortunate that the centerfold is missing. If qualified, maybe a 2.0... Edited July 8, 2018 by The Lions Den Additional info added
D84
I may hold off on slabbing the book to see if I can find a centerfold. If it's going to be qualified anyways, it might as well be complete. The Lions Den, rjpb and BAT MAN

D84
Restored label doesn't bother me. It only does when someone is trying to sell them at an unrestored price.
D84
The book is at CCS to be pressed (I hate spine roll) and then it will be graded. Once the book comes back, I'll share the picture.
CCComics
Have heard a little about this, but wanted to see if you or anyone can give more details. Is it correct you can request a blue label or qualified label? Obviously, there would be a grade difference, but didn't know how accurate this is. I also just found out that huge defects, like missing pages, could even get an unqualified grade. Btw, I would go 1.8 qualified.
D84
Not sure if you can request it, but according to this video with Matt Nelson, if the book is an otherwise 3.0/3.5 or lower, it becomes a .5. 4.0 or higher will get a green label. https://youtu.be/UdI0FSnY5
D84
I decided not to have the book graded, but did have CCS press out the spine roll. They also cleaned up the book, taking some of the yellow with it.

It was my impression that they didn't clean color areas to keep this from happening. I should have done my homework and told them to leave that section alone. This and the CT removal of the FF #1 would make me think twice about having anything done.
