A show you most likely didn't attend and maybe weren't even aware of... there were no American comics at all, very little manga, but... lots of cosplay, mech design heroes and girl singing groups... here's my pictures from April, I think it was...

In Japan they have these girl groups. They start putting them together as early as, I don’t know, 12-13 years old. 
They groom them to be stars, or as some might say, marketable celebrities. 
Some go on to TV, movies, always some modeling, and as the get older, the sky’s the limit. 
They had two of Japan’s biggest groups at the show NGT48 and JKT48, and Bangkok’s own version of one, BNK48.

I have no idea who is who.
