First of all,

Now, for what you really were looking for, I would call it 4.5 from what I can see. How tight is the cover attached?

4.5  the spine wear and BLFC creasing stops it just short of the 5.0

The cover is well-attached. There is a small split/tear combo at the very top of the spine on the back, which you might see if you really look for it (and I've just managed to make it a bit worse while getting it back into the Mylite).   I'd probably dock it down to 3.5/4.0 range for that, but the front does present nicely.
