Hey everyone- this is my first post here so please excuse the naivety.

I'm a big fan of batman, as I'm sure many here are- I only really want to collect batman issues (a couple exceptions) and want to have a decent set of batman-related CGCs (maybe like 10-15 total).

I can't break the bank on comic books. Below I've posted what I've started with, I've only been doing this for 1 week and and just finding my footing. I'm not expecting these to quadruple in value, but at least keep their value over the years while I hold on to them.

What are your thoughts on my purchases, and what are your recommendations for me moving forward? Help me grow this new hobby of mine! All advice appreciated.

Issue lots I've purchased:

White Knight

DK3 Master Race

Dark Nights Metal

Kick- vol 1/ Hit-Girl vol 1

Blackest Night #1-8

Doomsday Clock (currently on pull list)

Kings of Fear (currently on pull list)

Batman Damned (waiting on it)

CGCs Purchased:

DK3 Master Race #1 Miller 1:100 variant (the one with the red blood on white background) CGC 9.8 SS Brian Azzarello ($87)

Vengeance of Bane #1 CGC 9.8 ($235)

Dark Nights Metal #1 CGC 9.8 SS Kubert/Snyder/Capullo ($120)

Kick- #1 (vol 1) McNiven Variant CGC 9.8 ($110)

I don't think you'll get rich, but they should hold value and might increase a bit over time, at least for the CGC's.

The best advice is to buy what you like.
