I recently obtained my first graded CGC comic from another collector. I was happy to have a CGC graded comic. As I was inspecting the case, I noticed the side had, what look like a burn on the plastic. Is this normal? Do they do this to seal the case? ,

I just inspected my slab which I just received a few months ago. It has the same thing on the left side (if looking at front of book) of the casing but the other side is different in that it doesn't have any of the notches like your case. Its completely smooth. I'm guessing the slabs are from different runs. ???
