Thanks for looking. MYSTERY MEN #5 CGC 3.0 Universal Off-white to White pages. Some H2O staining, visible in scan. Some rust on staples. Red in right top corner is a scanner artifact, it's the same orange as the rest of the book. Shadow at bottom is also from scanner and not on book. $1050 Edited September 23, 2018 by rjpb Larryw7, Point Five and piper

rjpb
JETTA #7 CGC 5.0 OW/W 2nd highest graded copy, only a 5.5 higher. Final issue. Great color! $1100
rjpb
GEORGIE #25 CGC 6.5 CR/OW Peter Driben painted GGA cover. Looks like an 8.0 or better. I imagine the reason the grade got hammered is some light insect damage on the back cover, top left, see the scan. You will have a hard time finding a better looking copy. $1400
rjpb
Okay, this one is raw, but only because CGC doesn't slab these. ADVENTURES OF ACE KING DETECTIVE 2.0 (possible resto) Slightly Brittle pages. Extremely scarce! One of a trio of comics from 1933 from Humor Publications, considered the earliest original material comic books. 2" spine split at the bottom that comes just short of the staple. Staples are rusty but not bleeding. There is a second set of staples on the inside of the book, and it looks like the cover may have been detached and carefully glued back on at the spine - I'm not certain. Pages are tan, and the first wrap is about 2/3 split at the spine. There is no flaking, but pages, at least the first wrap would appear to have some brittleness at the spine. The book can be read, but should be handled carefully. This is an oversized book with stiff cardboard stock covers. A rare piece of comic history. This was the Jon Berk copy, sold by Metro as a VG-. $1200 porcupine48 and Larryw7 1
rjpb
BLACK TERROR #21 CGC 8.5 OW pages. Nice Schomburg GGA cover. 4th Highest graded after 2 9.4s and a 9.2. Sweet copy that looks like it could just as easily be a 9.0. "Newton rings" visible in slab. $1000
rjpb
THRILLING COMICS #15 CGC 2.0 CR/OW pages. Scarce. Schomburg WW2 cover. I didn't slab this, and have no idea why this only grades a 2.0. 1/2" ss at top and some tears at top staple. I would sell this as a 3.0 raw unless there is some hidden defect. Some "Newton ring" effect on slab. $400 Larryw7 and sacentaur
