DC's entry into pre-code horror (along with House of Mystery). As you'd expect, their version wasn't gory and gruesome like a lot of the other horror from this time period (1952), but these early DCs had more of an edge than their Silver Age counterparts.

I saw that book in hand at C2E2, really nice book ! You don't see those late Sensations too often.

I saw that book in hand at C2E2, really nice book ! You don't see those late Sensations too often.

 

Small world! Yes, the colors are very rich.

 

It also has a very nice Murphy Anderson story with a stunning splash page.

 

The ten issue run at the end of Sensation's life are hard to find, for sure.

I finally found a TOS 44 in the grade i wanted that wasnt over priced!!! and man its a beauty ...
