Comicdey
Here's my latest purchase for my ST run ... WOW!!!! What did you find that beauty?!!! Now you're gonna have to upgrade your entire 8.5 Strange Tales collection to 9.0 .GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) In fact, I picked this beauty because I was not able to get the 8.5 copy that I had my eye on (at a decent price)...eventually, I will downgrade (not degrade ) this one to an 8.5 copy, ideally via a trade. So, no, I won't start to upgrade the rest of my ST run (it's hard to find them and expensive enough already!) 'till then, I'll enjoy having this one! SWEEEET Copy....better than the one I showed you....but you can read mine.

I think it has a very solid chance at an 8.0 as here is my old 7.5 copy and the raw one certainly looks much more crisper. Not sure I'm going to be in the running for the #32 D copy next month as I have a feeling that it could push over 5 bills. Thre are a couple other books in that run that I like but the Cap's in the 70's really have my attention. These will not go cheap so I might just be a bystander. I'm curious to see if the market will be able to absorb such a big number of GA books at the same time at record breaking or high prices (especially if one thinks that some collectors might hold back a bit considering there's a lot of books from that pedigree that will be released for the first time on the market this year) Of course, that's a non-issue if the reserves are pretty low... Like you said, I thought that the books would go for way more. Most recent sale in GPA was back in 2004 and at prices over $250. I thought I might be able to get one, but definatly not both.
