tilleycs
My copy isn't as nice as Aces', but I'm glad to have one. First "appearance" of Cap in the Silver Age (it was really The Acrobat posing as Cap, but at the end of the story it says, "You guessed it! This story was really a test! To see if you too would like Captain America to return! As usual, your letters will give us the answer!").
tilleycs
This isn't really new to my collection, but I figured I'd share this (and a few other things) that a guy who's an artist for Marvel UK sent me. This is my sketch from last year (I told him that Thing/Hulk is my favorite hero/hero match-up). I'm looking forward to the one for this year (I've requested a Hulk vs. Cap sketch). Simon has been kind enough to send me the sketches, along with some copies of the Spider-Man comics he works on, which are only available in the UK. Great guy. tilleycs
This is a laminated copy of the art that Simon did for a Hulk annual for Marvel UK. Sorry for the lines, but my scanner evidently doesn't play well with laminated items.
tilleycs
This is a laminated copy of the artwork done for the cover of a UK Spider-Man comic. I think it's the 100th issue, and there are (obviously) some guest stars! Sorry again for the lines, it's because of the lamination (is that a word? ). It gives you some kind of perspective on the Hulk and the Thing as to what they would be like if they were real, running towards you. I want that issue! Do you have anymore info. If it's a UK book maybe i can track it down.

Hey tilleycs, do you happen to have any of the Spectacular Spider-Man issues published by Panini with Simon Williams art in them? I'm looking for any issues with Dr. Strange, particularly issue #115. Please PM me if you have any copies available!

If it's a UK book maybe i can track it down. I think it's issue #100 of Spectacular Spider-Man (the UK version, obviously). I tried finding it on comics.org, but they only seem to have the US versions. It's a couple of years old, but I have no idea what the availability would be. Simon's website is http://soulmaninc.co.uk/index.html . I have his e-mail address, but I wouldn't feel good about giving that out publicly without his consent. His web site is public, obviously, and he has e-mail there, if you'd like to send him an e-mail. He was thrilled to draw the Hulk. His dream was to one day draw the Hulk when he got into comics. He's worked on the UK Transformers comics, and then got work on the Spider-Man series. Lo and behold, guess who they wanted to come bust up the place in the special 100th issue? None other than the Hulk himself. **Edited to add: Duh! I went to Simon's website, and guess what I found? The finished version of the cover.
