I reviewed it for Zyzzyva, but their weird quarterly schedule means it won't be coming out for a while.  It's a good book, and it goes deep into his work, but what they say here is true -- his life is almost absurd in that NOTHING HAPPENS to him. 

It's interesting that in this piece, they don't talk to Andreas Brown, his representative during his life.  Brown was, uh, a character. 

To tie it into the forum, in my article I talk about trying to buy art from Brown and the adventure that resulted. 

Oh: here's a weird one.  It's a 1970s TV guide illustration.  Check out the signature.  The dealer I got it from said that the TV Guide illos he'd seen were signed the same way, which made it very hard to sell.
