I submitted a comic for reholder and CGC verified receipt, but the service noted is mechanical error. Status is verified. What exactly does that mean?

for some reason that is what they do. I had one recently and it still says that even though it cam home already "shipped/safe"

Mechanical error is for books that are being reholdered due to 'issues' such as the pressure case, excessive newton rings etc. Nothing to worry about enjoy the next month of waiting.

Just spoke with CGC and your are correct Iceman399. I was concerned the comic was being regraded, but according to the agent a regrade has a different service designation. Sounds like my reholder service will be free since CGC determined the cause for reholder was an error on their end.
