PGM ASM #129 - Grade Is In! 1 1

[Math Teacher]

Here are some pictures of my copy of Amazing Spider-Man #129. I would appreciate your input on the following: a) grade, b) benefit from pressing?, and c) would you slab it?

The book is very nice except for the staining and spine wear and due to that...

IMO... VG/FN 5.0 to FN - 5.5

I'm slightly lower... 4.5 to 5.0. Is that dirt along the spine? If that could be cleaned off, you'd get a bump.

Is that top staple detached ? Minimally, it has a chip. The book is obviously very 'dirty'. Not sure how much can be cleaned off but sometimes the dirt actually hides problems and cleaning it will unmask them. I can see, in some locations, the dirt has already rubbed color away. I'm sorry but I can't go any higher than 4.0 on this book. For those of you saying it is 5.5, would you be happy buying it as a 5.5 ?

4.0 or 4.5 as it is right now. It looks dirty. Might be possible for CGC to clean it tho

I just got this back from a Joey Post pressing/cleaning and a grading from CGC. Consensus of the group was 4.5, so I did much better than that. This is a prime example of Joey Post can perform miracles!

Cleaned it def improved. I just took a look at the original and before scrolling down, was at a 5.0 at best but thought Fine range possible with cleaning. Glad you went with it aweomse book!
