Qualified vs Restored

5 posts in this topic

Would a Silver Age book missing a very common coupon sell for more as a Qualified VF+ or would it be worth Restoring and getting the purple label. I have not seen all that many Qualifieds for sale,so I am deferring to your judgements. Thanks laugh.gif

Any idea on a price ratio between a regular label and a qualified would be? I figure a purple label 8.5 will sell close to the going rates of VGs but can't find many qualified 8.5s Thanks again Bill

The other thing to remember with Qualified books is they are applied to a wide range of defects and different collectors react differently to each defect.

Some collectors don't mind missing coupons etc and will pay well for a nice copy of a book with this problem. Its all about getting the right collectors to see your book.
