Shipping from US to/from Canada

Hey all,

 

I was just wondering if anyone was having difficulty shipping or receiving items that have to cross the border. It seems to me that mailing CGC books from Canada to the US over the last month have taken 2-3 times what they normally take to get delivered. As well, I have had issue receiving payment too.

 

Has anyone else experience any "lag" or delay recently? Just wondering...

Even using XpressPost fr Canada to USA seems to be taking an extra day or 2 to deliver. Perhaps they really have tightened up the border or Customs in the mail sorting plant since the liberation of Iraq began.

I have gotten some comics from Canada and I think it didn't take that long.

I bought a book last month and it took almost three weeks from the date it was shipped to reach me.

I received a couple of packages in late January that took 5 to 6 weeks to reach me in New York from Canada, but since then I've had a package take just 1 to 2 weeks to get here, so I thought delivery times had been improving.

I got a package that took less than a week to get to Toronto from Maryland

Hmm, I guess it is all over the place. Customs probably thinks that incapsulated comic books equals explosive device.
