Anyone get it today? I tried to talk my LCS down to a double digit number, but to no avail. Already averaging over $150 on eBay.

I'm sure the stores are charging just as much. Should've asked my LCS guy what they were selling theirs for (wasn't about to plunk down a C-note for anything new)

There were two variants for this issue. A 1-in-15 variant, and a 1-per-retailer sketch variant.

The guy at my LCS always sells those variants/exclusives for $2-3 or gives them away. He had the sketch cover, but sold it to some other guy for like $2 before I could get there. I would have flipped that so fast....

I guess it just really sucks that you couldn't have been there sooner to snatch it up. I mean, it could end up like the Astonishing X-Men RRP, and be real hot for several months, then drop back down to the $20 range, but still. $2. wow.

my LCS will sell his for 75 cash right now but I think the book will drop over time I would like his copy because it's a raw 9.8 but I'll take my chances

The copy my LCS has received a slight defect from shipment, but still probably a 9.6. I agree, though, that its red hot right now, but will go down by next year.

He had that one too. I went in one day and he had it up on the wall for cover price. I went home and checked eBay to see if it was worth anything and by the time I went back it was gone.

No, I was talking about the Astonishing X-Men RRP, which came out months ago. I had the opportunity to buy that one, but screwed it up.

 

My LCS had already sold the sketch variant to UXM 61 by the time I got there today.
