Popular Post OtherEric
The comics are mostly out of my range, other than the "Out of the world Adventures" pulp hybrids, and those have already been shown. I'm fond of the Avon paperback covers as well, though: damonwad, entalmighty1, Surfing Alien and 2 others

Popular Post Surfing Alien
Very nice @OtherEric you're getting quite the Avon pb collection together. Here's 3 of the paperbacks that Avon later re-used the artwork on comic covers, all 3 covers by Raymond Johnson who Overstreet and CGC will probably never correctly attribute, sad to say. At least GCD properly has Intimate Confessions #1 & 3 as by Johnson and I have submitted the changes for Police Lineup #2 The Neon Wilderness - Avon #222 - cover reprinted on the comic book Intimate Confessions #1 Carlotta - Avon Monthly Novel #13 (Digest) - cover reprinted on the comic book Intimate Confessions #3, GCD does have this as by Johnson but indicates the reprint is from Avon Paperback #250, which is actually a reprint of this, the original appearance of this cover. Little Caesar - Avon #329 - cover reprinted on the comic book Police Lineup #2 RICK STARR, Mr. Lady Luck, Jayman and 2 others

Popular Post RICK STARR
I picked up several Avon PBs over the years. Some simply beautiful cover art on these. As mentioned, some were copied to comic book format. But, imagine if some of these others were drawn as comic books. They would be considered classics and highly desirable. They are already considered classics by us vintage paperback fans Glad they're still affordable but there have been a lot of strong (for paperbacks) sales in the last year.
