Thanks all, I'm scared this is going to be a really bad grade. what do you guys think ?

thats a solid looking book........ just looking at the front/back covers i would say FN/VF maybe VF- 

getting it pressed/cleaned would help secure that grade imo

^Definitely needs a cleaning to secure a 7.0-7.5. As it sits, I put it around a 5.0. Still a great book. Wish I had a copy

Needs a good pressing job and cleaning will take care of a lot of the blemishes on the back. Agree 5.0 to 5.5 as is but could be as high as a 7.0, possibly higher after clean and press. Good luck!

Thanks all. Ya it's just one of my favourites, I was given it when I was 9 years old by my grandfather. I hoped it was good enough to slab, but I hadn't looked at the back cover for a while and once I took a hard look at it I was worried. I think if you all think it's a 5-ish now then I can send it for a clean/press and cross my fingers from there. Thanks

any silver age key in almost any condition is worth the slab

Looks pretty solid to me, but that back cover is pretty dirty, and the color loss on the front cover is a bit of a problem. The date stamp is cool and shouldn't affect the grade. Right now I'm thinking 5.0, maybe 5.5. A cleaning certainly should help that back cover and boost the grade a bit. Good luck!
