Anyone know anything about "John Maioriello" Batman collection? 1 1

On a lark (larks usually get me in trouble) I grabbed this off feeBay.  I see some for sale with high asking price, making me think perhaps the original offering was high.  I found one other sale, around the low "can't loose" price I paid so I'm assuming I haven't found a lost Vermeer here.

But I'm curious if anyone knows any who, why, what and when about these?
