Hey guys sorry for the hiatus and part 2 begins

I just received my Spawn issue #1 and ok with what I got I am shocked how beautiful this comic is I actually never a comic that is this well constructed the pages themselves the colors just are so vibrant and beautiful. My own gripe is a couple of spine dings but for $52 dollars this is a good deal. Once that Spawn movie comes out this will triple in price.

 

What grade would this be if you had to take a guesstimate , Why is is all bunching up right where i circled like that it only look like that from certain angles.

why did issue #1 of to slab or not to slab thread close? Its ok I will have volumes of material on here for generations to read and enjoy

 I was even thinking of starting other threads we could build on.

My other Thread Ideas

- "Comic Book hypothetical"- here we can ask random hypothetical questions like ( if superman has sex and he blows his load wouldn't he kill the person? , he can't control the force its coming out its a involuntary spasm)

- "CGC spotlights"- we can post spec books that are up and coming

- "Pay to Play" = here you guys can donate money to me and then I can go invest in a comic book and continue posting here

OK BASICALLY MY QUESTION IN ALL HONESTLY WHY DID THE THREAD CLOSE TO WHERE I TO MAKE PART 2, IF IT KEEPS CLOSING ILL MAKE UP TO PART 100 OR PART 1 MILLION.

ANY THE SPAWN BOOK IS SO NICE OTHER THAN THOSE DINGS ON THE SPINE

How do you expect us to give a guesstimate on a grade without any pictures of the back cover?

10.5 all day, this one redefines the grading scale.  A traditional 401(k) has got nothing on this book.

Because there are some basic rules about posting courtesy that includes utilizing the proper thread. If you want people to guess on the grade of your books, please utilize:

Please explore and utilize the other sections of this website, there is a lot of great info and community participation provided you post in the proper place.

If you really plan to document your journey for the upcoming generations, then maybe a Journal is the right vehicle and not Comics General.

Agreed.  don't forget to use your dictionary to press for 24 hrs... it always helps

Dictionary?  Real men use an iron on the highest steam setting possible.

When I press at home I usually use stacks of Spawn #1s for weight... But sure, a dictionary could work too.
