MISTER MYSTERY #14 in 2.5.
MISTER MYSTERY #15 in 1.8/2.0.
MISTER MYSTERY #19 in 3.0.

A trio of uncommon books from this hot horror title. #14 has a cool monster cover with rich colors & gloss; some tears on back cover; staple areas a bit worn but holding. #15 has glossy rich inks but moisture spotting, top half of spine is split with clear tape discreetly resealing inside; cover wrap detached at top staple, still holding on at bottom; some edge toning on back. #19 (zany devil cover) has some cover creasing but quite vibrant colors; it's the last issue, likely a bit harder to find and from the sales I've seen seems to be about a $250-300 book in grade. All three have nice gloss and present pretty well for their grades.

$450 / lot of 3

ADVENTURES INTO THE UNKNOWN #53 in 3.5.
ADVENTURES INTO THE UNKNOWN #56 in 2.5.

Two of these neat "3-D effect" books which were ACG's attempt to cash in on the 3-D craze; all of the interior pages look like the covers, with black margins and panel borders, figures drawn popping out of the panels, and cool greytone backgrounds to create extra depth. Some GGA/horror stories to boot! #53 is an attractive VGish book with spine splits top and bottom, maybe 25% of the spine cumulatively, but staples are attached. #56 has a vertical sub-crease-like bend and some creases. Both present pretty well for the grade.

$170 / lot of 2

ARCHIE #51 in 1.0/1.5 -- Piece out of front cover; reading copy
ARCHIE #65 in 1.5 -- Very bright colors; heavy spine tears
ARCHIE #66 in 3.5 -- Presents like a bright midgrade, but some writing on cover
ARCHIE #70 in 2.0/2.5 -- bright; some color loss lower right
ARCHIE #76 in 2.5 -- bright; small piece out lower right
ARCHIE #105 in 4.0 -- nice solid copy
BETTY & VERONICA #26 in 3.0/3.5 -- vibrant copy

Fun lot of early Archies. I've sold a few similar lots on ebay and was surprised how strong the bidding was. These are lower-grade copies with a variety of flaws allowable in grade, but most have extremely nice color strike & better than average PQ. Click the spoiler section below for some larger photos.

$115 / lot of 7
