PeterPark
Just purchased this Cerebus 1. I believe it to be a real copy and am thinking of getting it graded. It is less dirty than some other real copies but I have included photos to show why I think it is the real deal (matte cover, red dot soldier, stippled cerebus on the dragon splash page, etc.). Thanks in advance for any opinions and I'm looking forward to what you've got to say! Edited April 1, 2019 by PeterPark
NyanLin88
7.0 at most after a good press. Too many ticks. 6.5 as is imo PeterPark
theCapraAegagrus
6.0 IMO. PeterPark
CDNComix
Nice copy! I definitely believe that it will come back as a certified real copy. I have heard (whether it true or just opinion) the CGC is a little tolerant with regard to grading and Cerebus #1 spine ticks (a known production issue). Stingrayiii
Before press I say 5.0. After could be 6.5. PeterPark

Stingrayiii
It's a very rare book to begin with. So not to many have sent them in to be graded or pressed. There have only been 226 graded so far. I have sent in two to get graded over time. One came back as a 7.0 and the other 6.0. This was a long time ago before I knew anything about pressing. But that book could do well with a good pressing. Asianassassincomics
I think it's a 6.0 even after a press. Because those are deep spine ticks. 5.0 or 5.5 in current condition due to the spine roll. PeterPark
comicginger1789
5.5-6.0 as is. Pressing should bump a half grade at least to a hopeful 6.0-6.5. If you got a 7.0 or better, you should be elated. PeterPark
The Lions Den
I don't see any reason why it couldn't be pressed (unless someone else here knows something I don't...please feel free to respond). And that dot matrix on the cover is pretty difficult to duplicate, so I would lean toward it being authentic. A nice mid-grade copy...6.0 or so...
