Has anybody been watching the new animated Ultraman series on Netflix? Our whole family has been enjoying it. Being intimately familiar with the 50+ years old franchise, I’m almost surprised it’s as good as it is. (There’s been a new Ultraman series almost every year from 1966 to 2019.) Here’s the trailer in case any kaiju eiga fans are interested. It airs on Netflix in English, not Japanese.

I rocked the hell out of the Ultraman video game on my SNES.  An absolutely terrible game and I enjoyed every hour of it.  Unfortunately, other than the video game, I know nothing about the Ultraman canon.
