Can the inner-well of a CGC case damage the book?

Gotcha. Dang. That just sucks. How does the puddling like that even occur? I've never seen that before.

I don't see these as much as in the past, but there was a time that the puddling of the CGC inner well was so bad it actually "pressed" the shape into the back of the book. It can be pressed out easily, but it is affecting the book to a degree. Don't see this in the newest iteration of the case.
