Submitted for grading Sboy 127

I'd have to go with 2.5 as well.

There's nothing in the grading guide on this that I can see, but in one of the 1992 grading guide's defect sections there is a "VG40" comic that got downgraded to "GD25" on account of "heavy writing on cover." Grading is stricter now than it was 13 years ago, but 2.5 might be a good conservative grade for this book.

3.0

Below VG some ink doesn't hurt much unless someone went psycho.

I mind it 10 times less than H2O or tape.

I believe he means he's submitting this for our grading. Not to CGC. gossip.gif

Looks like the previous owner had a tough time choosing between the transistor radios and the Gemini Rocket. crazy.gifgrin.gif

Still, writing on the BC is not as bad as on the FC. I'll say 3.0.

BTW-

Editoral comment on the story~

Good Lord!

Bee-Boy!?

No wonder people loved Marvel in the 60s!

Paste-Pot-Pete would have a serious threat in the DC Universe back then.

No I haven't sent it in to CGC. The book is nice except for the back cover. I just wanted to know how much the ink would affect an otherwise nice book. I won't use that phrase in my subject line again, too confusing.
